Transnational
2016

In Transnational Elizabeth Ransom discusses the hybrid identity that is forged through immigration. Each subject selected objects to represent the places they have called home. These objects represent specific memories, a tradition, or custom, but most importantly they represent who the subject is. This project celebrates the melding of national identities by creating masks that visualise the blending of cultures.
